An early 3-day steam meet, this one took place Friday through Sunday. Sept. 16-18, 1957.
This year, here was a significant increase in interest in modern steam, and the Steam Automobile Club of America was formed soon after.
15 to 17 steam cars made it to Kent, and three of them were fully or partly modern.
The nearest thing to a tour tour was a trip to the Thompson Products Museum on Saturday.
The meet was written up in The Antique Automobile, Bulb Horn, and Light Steam Power magazines.
