1913 Type 54A Traveler, ex Rod Blood
Period images

Rod Blood took this photo of Robert E McNair & David Cheever Jr
helping to hoist his just-purchased Traveler out of
a barn in Maine, some time around 1944.
He sent it in to a Harvard alumni magazine.

The car was in astonishingly complete original condition. Rod
must have stored it outside at first.. Image source Alan

It was restored by Ben F. Johnson, Jr, and is now on display at the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway Museum
