Entry for Oct 31, 1909 Vanderbilt Cup race, to be driven by Willie Haupt.
The car performed with its peers in qualifying runs.
It broke its crankshaft the day before the race and could not be repaired in time to start.
This was undoubtedly one of the first cars to show the fluted profile of the top of American's second-generation radiators.
