Derr boiler and burner. Confusion exists about ownership details between this car and this one. Car with 274 plate was owned by Ellis at least 1952-1955. Ellis had a '22 on the 1950 Glidden and at the 1955 Lakeville meet. Smogless Days says he tired of the Derr burner after about a year, and sold the car to a "cowpuncher" in the far west. Callis was a Cape Cod neighbor; owned car by 1958. |
